Summer is over and the leaves are beginning to fall, and now it's time for Little Bird to go to school for the first time. Come along with him and Anne Marie as they navigate through the first day of learning the alphabet, numbers, and taking on new adventures.
I'm excited to announce that this poetry book written by Loni Hoots, and illustrated by me is now available on Amazon! Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of working with one of my best friends to design her wedding invitations! She decided to use lavender and purple themes throughout her wedding celebration, so we wanted to incorporate that in the invitations and reply cards as well. I painted the floral illustrations in watercolor, and also included some hand-lettered accents. Photographs are by talented local photographer Britt, from BLK Photography.
Thank you to everyone who attended The Sleep Catcher Book Release & Signing at the Novel Neighbor in Webster Groves! We were blown away by your support.
The Sleep Catcher is a captivating wordless tale about a young girl's quest to fall asleep. The book takes place in St. Louis and has pictures of many landmarks from our city. The Sleep Catcher story was created by Za Goodbrake, and illustrated by Melissa Rohr. It can now be purchased on The Inky Octopus and Amazon. I've had such fun creating some new Halloween doodles this past month. You can find these new silly critters in my shop!
>> Join my list to be the first to find out when I will release my next batch of adoptable critter illustrations! << For month of July, I will be sketching jungle and rainforest critters! You can follow along on my Facebook page, Twitter, and this blog. In addition to the handful of jungle illustrations I've done in the past, I will be sharing some new ink and watercolor sketches. Eventually, all of these critters will be appearing in a new jungle and rainforest themed coloring book!
I'm currently working on some new illustrations featuring cute critters with a fantasy feel. View four of the new critters below. I'm aiming to have these available starting in June!
I decided to create this watercolor & pen illustration a couple of weeks ago. The jolly Christmas Owl is available on holiday cards at Zazzle! Also keep an eye out for new owl gift tags in my Etsy shop.
